Currently Reading

(as you can probably tell, all of these books & the images of them posted here can be found on Amazon)

Finished:  Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
beautifully written, and very uniquely and artfully done.  Never have I seen a book like this that actually is kind of a blending of literature and art.  LOVELY, though sad.  Definitely one of those books for a rainy day.  Inspires me to write lots and lots of long letters for some reason.  Now I must see the movie...

Reading:  The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm (Actually, I'm listening to them through a download I got my paws on in iTunes U -- Marvelous stuff!

Going To Read: Pursuasion by Jane Austen

The World on Your Shoulders

I love this tattoo.

And, seeing as my 18th birthday is in 75 days (not that I'm counting) the fact that I am posting about tattoos may cause you to wonder.

Wonder no more, unless I get a random stroke of inspiration/the perfect idea/the ability to not want to wish I'd gotten something different, I will not be inking my body in honor of my legal adulthood.

*however*, that is not stopping me from gawking all the glorious tattoos out there.

Such as....

Aren't they all just glorious?

Sigh.

Maybe I will get one.

Just to do something irresponsible and very un-adultlike for a change.

The Valenscrooge Strikes Again!

So you know how I went on the other day about how little I enjoy Valentine's Day?

That fact has not changed.

Although, I have to say...  I am blessed to have an amazing fella in my life.

This is him.

And like I told Facebook two nights ago, he listens to the words I don't say just as much as he hears the words I say out loud.

If that makes any sense at all.

Hopefully it does.

He's amazing and I could not ask for a better Valentine.

...He's also the guy I automatically think of when I see the beginning of UP!:

Anyways, happy Valentine's Day folks!  Do something sweet for someone today, romantical or not.  Because there's enough people out there who don't get Valentines.
